Yesterday, I decided to try polyphasic sleeping as a challenge. After reading about it on wikipedia and on blogs like Steve Pavlina and Uberman Schedule, I thought it will be worth giving it a shot. The requirements to start polyphasic sleeping are flexibility in work schedule and having some big project to keep yourself busy. Luckily, both factors work in my favour currently. I have decided to follow Dymaxion, which is sleeping 30-45 mins every 6 hours. From experiences of other people, there seems to be a degree of flexibility that a person can harness to make the adjusting into this schedule easy. Day 2, 3 and 4 are supposed to be the toughest. I am going to try to keep a log of my activities and expeirences. Let’s see how things go.
